Design Education
Adrienne graduated from Barnard College as an English Major. In 1995, through a Merit Scholarship, she graduated from Sotheby’s American Arts Course, a certificate program that focuses in depth on American fine and decorative arts. She also studied interior design at Parsons. Adrienne is a Professional Member of ICA, as well as a Professional Partner of the Historic Districts Council. She is also a founding member of Design Exchange NY.
Design Work Experience
Adrienne apprenticed with antique dealers Liz O’Brien and Lin Weinberg. She also worked for the interior designer Thomas O’Brien and Alan Wanzenberg Architects where she worked with other members of a design team on large-scale residential projects.
In 2004 Adrienne started her own design firm. She has completed a variety of projects in Manhattan and the New York area. Neff’s work has been showcased on NBC’s nationally syndicated TV Show, “House Smarts”. Her work has been published in The World of Interiors and Interior Design magazines, among others. It is also featured in Spectacular Homes of Metro New York, Panache (© 2007). She participated in the Hamptons C & G “Idea House” in Sagaponack in 2008. In Fall ’09 she launched her first collection of handmade wallpapers, Uzu. For several years Adrienne has been a guest critic in Pratt Institute’s Graduate Design Program.
